"Silver" is a son of ApHC Racing Hall of Fame Inductee and Medallion producer, Mr. Spotted Bull. His dam is a half-sister to Lone Star Lad, a top 10 Hunter in Hand stallion at the World Show and top 10 Hunter in Hand sire in 2001. She is a grand daughter of the legendary Silver Strikes Equal.
Silver's blood lines include famous thoroughbreds and quarter horses such as Man O' War, Spotted Bull, Croton Oil, Sugar Bars, Skipper W and King, just to name a few. He also traces to appaloosa greats Prince Plaudit and Bright Eyes' Brother. Unfortunately, Silver lost an eye as a foal and was unable to compete in the show ring, but he was broke to ride as a long yearling and has a naturally smooth, collected way of going. His conformation, athleticism, speed and kind disposition make him a quality sire for the show ring and speed events.
